The Daily Grind Goes On

Work’s been slowing down a bit, and my tips are down about 10 or 15% as a result. It’s kind of disappointing going to work and only walking out with $20 or so on some days. Something needs to change.
Kent the General Manager at work has been pressing me to switch to Management. For the past few weeks, I’ve been thinking about it, but I really haven’t said anything to him about it. But, yesterday, Kent asked me about it again, and I told him to go ahead and pull things together. Pretty soon I should start the training and all the bullshit that goes along with it.
At NPC Managers are paid salary. Kent says I should still be able to drive for part of the time too. The main benefit however, is the guarenteed hours. I should get roughly between 35 and 45 each week. The extra cash should help out a lot with some of the things I still need, but just haven’t gotten around to getting. Plus, I’m hoping to head back to Indiana in about a month, so the promise of more money sounds kinda nice about now.
