Update On Kansas Life

I’ve been grinding my teeth and bearing it at work lately. I really do hate my job, but I also hate searching for a new one. Job hunting to me is worse than a trip to the dentist. I wonder if most people get anxiety over having to find a new place to work, interviewing, etc.
I think I’m pretty decent at interviewing, but really, for what I do now, and are capable of landing jobwise, interviewing doesn’t really matter. I really need to go back to school to do anything worthwhile. Which reminds me, I need to look into that.
The only major complaint I’ve had about work is about our cooks. It seems that all four were stoned a few days ago, and we got pizza’s coming out of the oven, which weren’t even remotely correct. It was funny for the first one or two, but after that, the joke wears off pretty damn quickly.
If I have to wait twice as long for a pizza to be cooked properly, it cut’s into my bottom line. The only thing that’s keeping me at this store right now is tips, and once product quality goes down, that will go down too.
I wish people understood about how the quality of the stuff they make effects my income! Everytime we screw up on a delivery pizza, and aggrivate the customer, that’s even more money coming out of my collective pocket.
