If you’re switching from a home based webserver, to a shared linux box, always remember to edit your HOST files. This is important because some idiots have their HOSTS files directed to their webserver’s IP address, so they don’t have to do DNS resolution.
Of course, if your server isn’t on your own computer anymore, not changing the host file will aggrivate you for eight hours while you try to figure out what the hell is going on.
