Tales from the front.
by Bobosan on Nov.26, 2005, under Main
It’s been almost a month since I’ve updated. I’ve been busy with work, school, and Everquest 2.
Work has been slower, and tips are drying up. It’s pretty frustrating, today I only had 12 runs, and only made $45. As a Pizza Delivery driver, I rely on tips to cover not only the bulk of my income, but repairs and upkeep on my car. Speaking of, I’m going to need new brakes soon. I need to do that before I head to Baltimore for Christmas.
Schools is very hectic right now, I have a huge history essay dude the 1st on Jacksonian politics, and a case study in Psych due the 30th. Needless to say, I’m a little behind schedule on both, and a bulk of Saturday will be taken up by trying to catch up. For my history essay, I need to do some small research, and write a small outline before I start. That one is only 4 pages, so it shouldn’t be too bad, but I want a good grade on it. The psych case study will be a little harder, as it’s much more work, and since my partner left me, it’s all on me. It will be a frustrating next few weeks, and finals start in just over a month. I’m gonna have to work hard for the next month, and it’s only going to add to my general stress level.
As far as Everquest goes, I’m generally having fun. It’s interesting to play again, and I’ve started to find a few online friends to learn about and play with. Everquest was always about the social aspect, the raiding and uberness-ness was just secondary benefits. The guild I’m in, is very frustrating, but it will do for now. I’m trying not to get too addicted to this game, and I antcipate it being just a game, not a cult following like EQ Live! was for me. Still, it’s a good way to unwind, but hopefully it won’t impact school.
Well, that’s the news from my end, hopefully I can update in a few days and add some more detail, but until then, that is the news from the front.
