So the girl I’ve had my eye on called.
It’s funny how great it is to talk to Ashley. Its weird and maybe a little scary at the time too. I mean, I don’t know that much about her, but we we talk, we always seem to be smiling. She doesn’t live far away, and shes getting her own place soon too. I’m expected to visit. I’d like that.
She actually had to leave me for few minutes to go visit her mom, who is phoneless. We’ll see if she’s back in the original 30 minutes she told me. I don’t think she will be, but I hope so. She’s a very cute, kinda of big blonde. But I think her little extra weight is very well distrubuted. Her only fault is that she’s a die hard Chrsitian. I don’t know how a relationship with a girl who believes whole-heartedly in Christ will go, when coupled with a man who believes whole-heartedly in the abscence of such a higer power. Maybe, if I get lucky I can find out. I hope I get lucky.
In other news, I got my new Platinum card today, and also my GPS card. I had fun with the GPS, I think I got about 400 networks mapped while I was working. That leaves 1143 to go! Not bad for a 3 hour work day, which wasn’t bad either since I made a few bucks. I think I’m going to be wardriving every time I’m in my car, and I want to make some sort of Google Maps program to show all the networks I’ve found in Network Stumbler. I think between driving around town delivering, driving with Teter, and driving to Muncie every so often should get me quite a few networks. It would be interesting to map also to see the diversity of wifi in this town. So far I have noticed that quite a bit of the ‘poor’ sections of town have wireless APs. I wouldn’t even think they would have computers….
But also, alot of those people have bigger TVs than I do too. And they’re probably paying for them too. ‘Rent to Own’ they to call it. More like, pay a tremendous ammount of interest for a $5000 55′ Plasma TV when you make $9 an hour welding for Toyota. I can’t understand why people do those things. I mean, I can see a situation where you have to use ‘Rent to Own’, but I wouldn’t do it unless my options were completely closed off.
Today in class was probably the best day so far. It actually ended early today, and I walked out about 3:45 and went home for half an hour. I skipped Wednesday and thought I had to give a speech today. So, of course, I was madly typing up a outline at 9am this morning. I guess, however, that she pushed speechs back a day. So I have to go back over the damn thing tomorrow and redo it properly. I got a B+ on my last speech, when the points should have actually given me a straight C. Since she hasn’t actually explained her grading system, and class ends in 2 weeks, I have no idea my grade. What a way to teach! I’ll be happy if I never have Ms. Joy “Smile, Be Happy!” Jordan again.
Looks like Ashley is running late. Off to play some Battlefield 2 and TK a little more. Thats always fun to do…even if you can only kill 10 people before you get kicked.
